The Super Bowl is upon us…
Other than quarterback the wide receiver is regarded as the most important offensive position. It’s so vital for teams to have a guy who can take the game into their own hands when needed. That’s why we constantly see Super Bowl winning teams have the top receivers.
Of course sometimes that isn’t enough and that’s why we will be going over 5 NFL Wide Receivers that WILL Win a Super Bowl Before they Retire and 5 that WON’T.
Will Win a Super Bowl: Jaylen Waddle
Jaylen Waddle winning a Super Bowl is very realistic but it extends even further than that. The Dolphins have shown a willingness to go out and do what it takes to create a juggernaut. Waddle is one of the key pieces in that puzzle.
They’re an absolute offensive powerhouse that just needs a small boost on defense to make the leap. At just 25 years old he still has so much time to win it in Miami or somewhere else.
Will Not Win a Super Bowl: Keenan Allen

Nobody should go as far as to say that Allen wasted his career with the Chargers because his personal statistics might have a Hall of Fame case. His playoff success on the other hand has been wasted.
He’s been with the Chargers since 2013 and has been to the playoffs just three times never making it past the Divisional round. Los Angeles has certainly put together a good squad as of now but it’s not enough to win it all.
Will Win a Super Bowl: AJ Brown
Just last year Brown and the Eagles were only four points from beating the Chiefs in the Super Bowl. It certainly wasn’t a fluke either.
Brown is just another case of a player being so young on such a good team that even if it doesn’t work out in Philadelphia there’s a lot of contenders who’d pay big money for his talent.
Will Not Win a Super Bowl: Davante Adams
If Adams was ever going to win a Super Bowl it would have come in all those years in Green Bay playing with Aaron Rodgers. In his eight years with the Packers he went to the playoffs six times and advanced to the NFC Championship four times but was eliminated there every time.
At the age of 31 Adams is slipping further and further out of the top 10 receiver conversation with so much young talent around him.
Will Win a Super Bowl: JaMar Chase
Chase got a taste of Super Bowl action in his rookie year and now in just his third season is considered a top five receiver in the league. The Bengals will continue to be playoff contenders every year after giving Joe Burrow that massive extension. Chase might not be far behind in his own payday.
At just 23 years old many expect his upcoming contract to be one of the highest in the league for his position. He immediately elevates any fringe playoff team to a contender.
Will Not Win a Super Bowl: DJ Moore
He certainly wasn’t going to win one with the Panthers so it was a blessing when he was finally traded out of Carolina. There’s just one problem though because he got traded to Chicago who share the same problems of getting a competent team on the field just like the Panthers.
He was mainly acquired to help out young quarterback Justin Fields and to be fair he’s done that but if he stays where he is there is no ring in his future.
Will Win a Super Bowl: CeeDee Lamb
Despite what you might think about the Cowboys they are consistently in the playoff hunt. They had back to back 12 win seasons in 2021 and 2022 with many believing 2023 was their year. Their window is as big as ever and Lamb is a huge contributor to that.
Will Not Win a Super Bowl: Michael Thomas
The Saints window to win a Super Bowl is far behind now that they have a revolving door at quarterback. Michael Thomas has now hit age 30 with production slowing every year since 2019 due to major injuries. It’s hard to believe he could ever win one in New Orleans.
He is also past his prime for a big payday from most teams and could be out of the league relatively soon.
Will Win a Super Bowl: Deebo Samuel
If San Francisco can find even an above average quarterback in the next few years they will win a Super Bowl. They are amazing with anyone leading the offense due to the amazing job head coach Kyle Shannahan does every week.
If Deebo doesn’t win a Super Bowl in his time with the 49ers it will almost feel like a crime.
Will Not Win a Super Bowl: DeAndre Hopkins
What is it with the Titans and being the final resting grounds for once amazing wide receivers. Just a few years ago Tennessee were real contenders at a shot for the big game but have since gone downhill.
Unless he changes teams quickly not many teams are interested in wide receivers who are already in their 30s.
