Football fans better enjoy tomorrow’s showdown between the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions, because the remainder of the 2023 “Thursday Night Football” schedule on Amazon Prime becomes awfully dull.
As noted by Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, the remaining games are a lot less exciting after the Lions visit the Packers in an NFC North showdown that already carries significant playoff implications.
For reference, have a look at the schedule below. You have the 0-3 Chicago Bears and 0-3 Denver Broncos getting featured on Amazon Prime Video over the next couple of weeks. The Bears (again) against the Carolina Panthers in Nov. 10? Yikes.
Needless to say, football fans are far from enthused with the remaining slate of games on Amazon this year:

The Cincinnati Bengals-Baltimore Ravens clash should be a thriller, and the Seattle Seahawks-Dallas Cowboys tilt could carry playoff implications as well. But otherwise, it’s already hard to forecast most of these remaining games being even the slightest bit exciting.
Of course, there is the always-entertaining trio of Thanksgiving Games. FOX will carry the Packers-Lions contest at Ford Field, and NBC will get the Washington Commanders contest against the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium. NBC will carry the last contest between the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks in the Pacific Northwest.
At least the bulk of Sunday night and Monday night games remaining this year look enticing.
