An interesting study put together by Gambling.com has ranked all 32 NFL fanbases based on how negative they are on social media.
Gambling.com compiled together negative posts from each of the 32 fanbases on Facebook, Twitter and Reddit. The study then grouped that into the “Average Level of Negativity”, and the Minnesota Rankings took the top spot with a percentage of 20.
The Jacksonville Jaguars have the lowest Average Level of Negativity at 3.86 percent. But of course, playing in a small market obviously plays a huge factor in that.

Passionate Vikings fans probably won’t be surprised to see that their team landed at No. 1. Arguably no professional sports team has gone through more heartbreaking losses in their history than the Vikings, for starters.
Quarterback Kirk Cousins has been a hot-and-cold quarterback over his five years with the organization. His struggles against winning teams, coupled with the fact he has just one career playoff win, are bound to lead to so-called “negative” posts on social media.

Having the Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens in the top three is certainly surprising, though. The Bengals are coming off a second straight trip to the AFC Championship, and the Ravens have reached the postseason in four of the last five years.
But perhaps Lamar Jackson’s contract status (he was assigned the franchise tag earlier this month) and uncertain future in Baltimore has led to a larger-than-normal amount of negative posts from fans.
The Detroit Lions being at No. 4 certainly isn’t surprising given this franchise’s decades-long struggles. The remaining top eight isn’t exactly stunning given how those teams have fared over the years.
