The NFL and Roger Goodell unveiled its lineup of teams set to participate in the 2024 International Games, featuring matches in both London and Munich.
The Eagles are the host team for the first-ever NFL game in Brazil, the NFL announced Monday. The game will be played on September 6th, which is on a Friday. The Eagles’ opponent will be revealed closer to the NFL’s 2024 schedule release in the spring. This will be Philadelphia’s first international game since 2018.
With it being held in São Paulo at the Corinthians Arena, it will mark the fifth continent to feature an NFL game.
The Chicago Bears, Minnesota Vikings, and Jacksonville Jaguars are slated to play in London, while the Carolina Panthers will head to Munich, Germany. Three games will be played in London, with Tottenham Hotspur Stadium hosting two games and Wembley Stadium hosting a Jacksonville Jaguars home game. Another game will be played in Germany, with the league returning to Allianz Arena in Munich.
The first game of the 2024 season will take place on a Thursday, so the Brazil game will be the second game of the year.
