The NFL schedule release date has finally been confirmed.
The league announced that it will be officially unveiling its schedule this upcoming Thursday. The schedule will start to be unveiled at 8 p.m. ET on NFL Network.
A final decision being made means marquee games for the league — opening weekend prime-time games, Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, the Sunday night game on Christmas Eve, and the Monday tripleheader on Christmas — are finalized.
The Aaron Rodgers and Lamar Jackson situations may have also altered the primetime slate, but it looks like things have worked themselves out now that those two dynamic QBs are on their team for the 2023 season. Both teams are slated for multiple primetime contests.
The “Thursday Night Football” slate is one to pay attention to as the league passed a resolution where teams could play two Thursday night games a season. This was done to cut down on terrible matchups on that day.
All fans already know who is on their schedule, it’s just a matter of when, where, time, and on what network.
