Cam Jordan hurt his team in the worst way and at the worst time possible when refs threw him out of the Saints-Chiefs game on Sunday for punching Kansas City offensive lineman Andrew Wylie in the helmet. The Saints defensive end also drew a 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for the incident that happened as Jordan was engaged with Wylie while rushing Patrick Mahomes.
Instead of third-and-nine on the next play, the Chiefs faced first-and-10 and Le’Veon Bell ran for a touchdown on the next play.
Despite the untimely ejection in the fourth quarter, the league has decided to rule against a suspension and might just opt for a fine.
