Another NFL Sunday, another moment of mind-boggling officiating calls that have fans furious.
In the first quarter of Sunday’s Week 6 game between the San Francisco 49ers and Cleveland Browns, P.J. Walker attempted to pick up the first down with a quarterback sneak on a 3rd-and-1 play.
Officials brought out the measuring sticks and ruled Walker short. If you look closely, though, it certainly looks like the ball narrowly crossed the marker. Thus, the Browns should have been issued a first down.
The questionable spot by the officials here had fans furious, to say the very least:
