New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll got unexpectedly roasted (in a friendly matter) by a reporter during his press conference on Friday.
A reporter was asking Daboll about players’ incentives for Sunday’s Week 18 regular season finale against the Philadelphia Eagles. Daboll interrupted the reporter and said, “Sorry, I’m looking at your hair.”
The reporter hilariously responded with, “My hair? Are you jealous?”, which led to an uproar of laughter in the room:
Hey, gotta give Daboll some credit for being able to have fun with reporters, especially during a frustrating season. Those longtime New England Patriots reporters don’t get to experience humorous conversations with Bill Belichick, after all.
Daboll is wrapping up his second season with the Giants, who enter Sunday with a 5-11 record. The Giants’ season has been marred by injuries, with quarterback Daniel Jones missing all but six games after suffering a torn ACL.
Running back Saquon Barkley (three games), offensive tackle Andrew Thomas (seven games) tight end Darren Waller (five games) and linebacker Azeez Ojulari (six games) have all missed considerable time as well.
