Brittany Matthews’ postgame celebration has been talked about just as much as the Chiefs epic comeback victory, but unlike the actual game, she has been catching heavy backlash.
Following the Chiefs’ thrilling AFC Divisional Round win against the Bills, the fiancée of Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes sprayed champagne from her suite into the stands at Arrowhead Stadium. The backlash has been intense to the point that people are calling for her to be banned from stadiums.
NFL reporter Amanda Vance had a different take on the situation.
Vance, who is not an Instagram model but has an incredibly large following, took to her page and dropped a hilarious video making light of the Matthews’ situation by acting as one of the fans below the suite getting wet by the bubbly.
The acting skills are undeniable.

“I just wish I could do what I want without getting attacked every week,” Matthews tweeted in response to the backlash.
Matthews also retweeted a message that read: “Imagine your team winning in one of the best games in NFL history… Then complaining about how devoted, excited and proud Brittany is of her man and this team. Y’all are weird …”
Matthews and Mahomes have been together since high school and are slated to get married later this year.
