Yes, there are missed penalties and botched calls by the officials in the NFL in every game. That’s just the nature of the business, and it won’t change until/unless the league makes long overdue changes to the officiating system.
YouTube user Max Optimized shared a video that counts a ridiculous 15 missed penalty calls on the Eagles, who defeated the Dolphins 31-17 on Sunday Night Football to improve to 6-1 on the season.
There were indeed several baffling calls or non-calls that greatly benefitted the Eagles. That includes this tacky “Roughing the Passer” foul on Christian Wilkins for slightly pushing Philly quarterback Jalen Hurts.
It also looked like Eagles Pro Bowl cornerback Darius Slay got away with defensive pass interference on Miami running back Raheem Mostert early in the fourth quarter, with Philadelphia clinging to a seven-point lead.

A penalty call would have given Miami a first-and-goal situation near the goal line with the chance to tie it up, but the officials never threw the flag. The Eagles put the game away with a Kenneth Gainwell rushing touchdown.
The loss dropped the Dolphins to 5-2 on the year, though the Buffalo Bills’ loss to the New England Patriots ensured that Mike McDaniel’s group retained first place in the AFC East heading into Week 88.
