The football world is still in shock following Damar Hamlin’s horrific ordeal.
The Buffalo Bills safety suffered cardiac arrest during the first quarter of his team’s clash vs. the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday night and is still fighting for his life.
As one would expect, NFL players are feeling it right now. It must have been a hellish experience for the ones who were actually at the Paycor Stadium when Hamlin collapsed. Watching anyone receive CPR on the field of play – whether a teammate or opponent – should be nothing short of traumatic.
MLFootball is reporting having spoken to a certain player who said he isn’t sure how he can play this week after Monday’s events. The player is also said to have disclosed that one of his teammates’ wives is fearful for her spouse’s life.
The NFL has said that Week 18 will go on as planned but it would certainly be understandable if they were to call it off.
