CBS has shared their broadcast teams as well as their assignments for the first three weeks of the upcoming 2023 NFL season.
Once again, Jim Nantz, Tony Romo and Tracy Wolfson will serve as the network’s No. 1 commentary team. The other crews will be: Ian Eagle/Charles Davis/Evan Washburn, Kevin Harlan/Trent Green/Melanie Collins, Andrew Catalon/Tiki Barber/Matt Ryan/AJ Ross, Spero Dedes/Adam Archuleta, Tom McCarthy/James Lofton/Jay Feely and Chris Lewis/Jason McCourty/Ross Tucker.
Beth Mowins will call several games as well, with Tiffany Blackmon, Justin Walters, Amanda Guerra, Aditi Kinkhabwala and Amanda Renner also working as game reporters.
With the regular season less than two months away, CBS also revealed its broadcast team assignments for Week 1. The team of Nantz/Romo and Wolfson will call the New England Patriots’ afternoon home tilt against the defending NFC Champion Philadelphia Eagles.
The Eagle/Davis/Washburn trio, the network’s No. 2 commentary team, will get the Cincinnati Bengals-Cleveland Browns tilt. The entire set of the Week 1 broadcast teams for CBS can be seen below:

You may notice that Greg Gumbel, one of the network’s longest-tenured announcers, isn’t on the list of broadcasters this year. Gumbel signed an extension with CBS earlier this year but actually gave up NFL play-calling duties. He will, however, continue his role in the network’s coverage of NCAA basketball.
The 2023 NFL regular season will commence on Sept. 7, with the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs welcoming the Detroit Lions.
