Quarterback Deshaun Watson won’t play for the Cleveland Browns until Week 13, which naturally, comes against his former team in the Houston Texans.
This week, the Browns and Deshaun Watson pissed off a lot of people with the way they reacted to the quarterback’s 11-game suspension. You can add Kyle Brandt among them.
On Friday’s episode of Good Morning Football, Brandt destroyed the Browns and Watson as he expressed disgust over their actions at the press conference.
‘What the hell was that in Cleveland yesterday? What was that? That was the plan? That was the presentation? Did you think about what you were going to say?…
“I’m supposed to be pleased about this?….”I just feel sick about it.”
We have heard various levels of remorse from Deshaun Watson during the entire process that began with his multiple alleged sexual assaults against massage therapists when Watson was a member of the Houston Texans.
Right after his suspension was all announced on Thursday morning, Watson held a press conference and appeared to reveal his true colors on the entire mess.

Watson said he apologized because “there were a lot of people triggered.”
He then released a statement in response to the suspension in which he didn’t apologize to the women, rather “for any pain this situation has caused”:
“I’m grateful that the disciplinary process has ended and extremely appreciative of the tremendous support I have received throughout my short time with the Browns organization. I apologize once again for any pain this situation has caused. I take accountability for the decisions I made. My focus going forward is on working to become the best version of myself on and off the field and supporting my teammates however possible while I’m away from the team. I’m excited about what the future holds for me in Cleveland.”
What’s done is done and the only way we will truly know if he is remorseful is changed behavior.
