On Wednesday, the New York Giants announced the firing of offensive line coach Marc Colombo and are reportedly hiring Dave DeGuglielmo to replace him on the coaching staff, per Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
Soon after the news came reports of head coach Joe Judge and the fired coach getting into a physical altercation.
“SCOOP: I’m told NY Giants coaches Joe Judge and Marc Colombo got into a fistfight this morning.
Punches thrown. I’m told Colombo got the better of him, and Judge fired him instantly.”
Social media went crazy for awhile, but those rumors were quickly put to rest.
