The refs may have missed it, but Roger Goodell didn’t.
Despite not being penalized for his dirty hit on Minnesota Vikings quarterback Josh Dobbs during Sunday Night Football, Denver Broncos safety Kareem Jackson has not escaped the wrath of the league’s front offices.
As such, Jackson is now being suspended four games following his latest infraction.
Jackson received four games largely due to the fact that he’s a repeat offender, having already been suspended for four games earlier this year as a result of multiple dirty hits.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter has since reported that Jackson plans to appeal the suspension. He took this route earlier this year, following his first four-game suspension, and successfully had it reduced to two-games.

Seeing as how this is his second four-game suspension of the season, it’s unlikely Jackson gets a similar ruling this time around. He’s been guilty of countless illegal hits throughout the course of his career. It’s about time the NFL starts coming down on him.
If he keeps this up, he may not be in the league much longer.
