NFL fans are trolling the league over some scheduling news that’s come out since the Aaron Rodgers news broke.
The star quarterback is finally New York bound, with the Jets and Packers coming to terms over a deal that has seen them exchange their first-round picks for this season, while Rodgers is set to make the switch to a darker shade of green.
New York will have a big-name player on its roster heading into 2023/24 and, as such, they’re expected to get the lion’s share of prime-time games. According to Adam Schefter, who broke the trade bombshell on live TV on Monday, the Jets are expected to have as many as six prime-time games.
Given that Rodgers will be playing in the biggest market in the U.S., this makes plenty of sense, yet fans don’t see it that way… thanks to the Broncos.

The NFL isn’t likely to take what happened to Denver after they landed Russell Wilson into consideration when they plan the 2023 schedule. This is an entirely different situation, but who could blame fans for thinking they should?
The Jets, though, will command plenty of attention on the back of this move, and they could soon feature on HBO’s Hard Knocks. They are already one of the four teams eligible to be on the show, along with the Chicago Bears, New Orleans Saints, and Washington Commanders.
