There have been no shortage of trade rumors involving the Seattle Seahawks moving on from Russell Wilson. Trading for Russell Wilson would be a tough pill to swallow considering the amount of potential young talent going out the door.
The going rate has the eight-time Pro Bowler netting the Seattle Seahawks potentially three first-round picks. That is lot of assets to part ways with for a 33-year-old QB.
NFL Insider Albert Breer stated on Wednesday that he not only expected that Russell Wilson to get traded, he guessed it would happen with Wilson going to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Last month, former NFL scout Daniel Jeremiah took to Twitter to float a “fun” trade proposal between the Seahawks and Eagles.
“Fun trade discussion: Eagles get Russell Wilson Seahawks get Eagles 3 first round picks this year & next year’s 2nd round pick,” Jeremiah noted in a January 17 tweet. “Which team says no?”
Right now, the Eagles have the No. 15, No. 16 and No. 19 picks in the upcoming draft.

Last season, Jalen Hurts didn’t really impress enough to make the franchise think he could be the guy going forward. He ended the year with a bad performance in the playoffs where he finished 23-for-43 (53 percent) for 258 yards with two INTs and a 60.0 passer rating.
The second-year QB led the Eagles in rushing, netting 784 yards and 10 TDs on 139 attempts. In 15 starts, Hurts completed 61.3 percent of his passes for 3,144 yards and 16 passing touchdowns.
Seattle finished at 7–10 last season as Wilson tallied 3,113 yards, 25 touchdowns and six interceptions.
