There’s still a cloud of uncertainty with the upcoming NFL season.
The thought of having 60,000+ fans packed together in a stadium doesn’t seem anywhere near possible given the coronavirus pandemic and the social distancing guidelines that remain intact to help stop the spread of the deadly virus.
On top of that, there could also be no alcohol sold at NFL games this year.
According to longtime NFL writer and insider Peter King of NBC Sports, NFL games with no alcohol would be a logical step to take in light of the pandemic.
“I could see alcohol being banned at games for the year. (Meaning, theoretically, fewer trips to crowded restrooms through crowded concourses by patrons.)”
Peter King also mentioned how he could envision fans over the age of 70 being asked to not show up to games since the ederly are more at risk for the coronavirus.
Everything as of right now is just pure speculation, because there could be drastic changes during the NFL season that we have never seen before.
