It looks like the rumors of last week are proving to be true.
Odell Beckham is averaging a career-low 67.1 yards per game in 2019, failing to find the end zone in seven straight weeks from Sept. 22 to Nov. 14. Not only that, he has just 57 passes for 805 yards and two touchdowns in a season where the Browns were expected to be a whole better than their 5-7 record.
Now, it seems that Odell wants to leave the franchise.
Bleacher Report’s Mike Freeman relayed info from Fox Sports insider Jay Glazer that Odell has indeed informed teammates and coaches that he wants of Cleveland after just one season.
According to Ian Rappaport of NFL.com, Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has been playing through a “serious and often painful” sports hernia that will require offseason surgery.
