The Carson Wentz era in Philadelphia is likely over, especially if Jalen Hurts continues to win games.
Carson Wentz remains under contract for the Philadelphia Eagles , but it appears he just might end up getting traded to another team sooner rather than later.
An NFL source spoke to Matt Miller of Bleacher Report about potential landing spots for Wentz, saying “Somewhere small with less pressure. Indianapolis, Jacksonville, Pittsburgh.”
The Colts have been brought many times before as a spot for Wentz, but the Jaguars and Steelers are definitely new ones. The Colts would provide the most ideal scenario for Wentz, as the Jags are still in contention to get either the No 1 or No 2 pick in the NFL draft. They will most certainly take a QB.
As for Pittsburgh, a trade for Wentz only makes sense if Ben Roethlisberger doesn’t return for another season.
