On Wednesday, ESPN insider Adam Schefter announced that Colin Kaepernick had a workout this week with the Las Vegas Raiders. The news immediately set off a wave of comments from supporters and haters.
While Raiders QB Derek Carr is entrenched as the starter, Kaepernick could be an upgrade as a backup quarterback.
Even though Kaepernick has been away from the game for a while, there are people who believe he can still be a starting quarterback in the NFL and that includes one NFL insider.
Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk thinks Kaepernick can not only start for five teams, he went on to mention those teams.
“Colin Kaepernick, with time to knock off the rust and prepare, would be better than any option the Seahawks, Panthers, and Texans currently have,” Florio wrote on Twitter. “He’d be better than any QB (sorry TuAnon) that the Dolphins currently have. He’d possibly win the job in Atlanta, too.”

The 34-year-old Kaepernick last appeared in an NFL game back in 2016 when he completed 59.2 percent of his passes for 2,241 yards and 16 touchdowns and four interceptions while adding 468 yards rushing and two touchdowns.
