Aaron Rodgers’ dislike of the Green Bay Packers has been going on for quite some time, but finalls came to a head before the draft.
Earlier this month, Ian Rapoport reported that Rodgers and the team are “not in a good place,” while also corroborating a report that came from fellow NFL Network insider Mike Garofolo that Rodgers “has spoken to several different players about joining him somewhere else.”
“We know that Rodgers has talked to several different players about joining him somewhere else,” Rapoport said on NFL Now. “However, of course as we know, the Packers have zero plans whatsoever to trade him.”
Fast forward to near the end of the month of May and Tyler Dunne of Go Long is confirming that Rodgers had been telling opposing players that he had interest in leaving Green Bay. He also asked opposing players if they would have interest in joining him on a different team.
“Heard Aaron Rodgers was telling some opposing players this past season that he was looking to build a team elsewhere and wanted to see if they’d be interested in teaming up,” Dunne tweeted on Monday.
