The playoffs are here and one of the final 14 teams will be your next Super Bowl Champions! This week kicks off Wild Card weekend. The last time one of the Wild Card teams won the Super Bowl was 2020 when Tom Brady led the Buccaneers to a stellar win. Could one of these Wild Card teams be the next? If they can keep their injury report clear, there is definitely a chance. Let’s dive in the NFL Injury Report Week 19.
Tua Tagovailoa Update
Despite suffering his third major concussion of the season, reports say that Miami is hopeful that he will be able to play this Sunday against the Bills. The Bills are coming off of a supercharged win against the Patriots where they ran, not one, but two kickoffs back for a touchdown. Having Tua suit up would be in Miami’s best interest, however, medical staff will need to clear him. If he is not cleared, Teddy Bridgewater‘s dislocated pinky would most likely not stop him from starting.
Lamar Jackson Injury Update
John Harbaugh is playing ‘hardball’ and giving minimal to no updates on the status of Lamar Jackson. He left in Week 13 after suffering a PCL injury when his knee was jammed into the ground. The Ravens are scheduled to practice on Wednesday, so we will see if Lamar is able to participate.
Gus Edwards Update
Gus Edwards exited the Baltimore game Sunday after suffering a head injury. He was filling in for their normal starter, J.K. Dobbins, who the team elected to rest ahead of the postseason. Edwards is now on concussion protocol. He will need to be cleared in order to play Sunday. It would be in the Raven’s best interest to have both Edwards and Dobbins healthy heading into the playoffs, with Edwards being the more physical runner of the two.
Raheem Mostert Injury Update
Another injury for the Miami Dolphins backfield happened to Raheem Mostert, who reportedly broke his thumb in Week 18. He is reported to be “in doubt” for this week’s matchup against the Bills and is scheduled for surgery on Monday. “It’s a serious injury” is what Mike McDaniel is saying, so there is probably a good chance that he will not suit up on Sunday, despite the stakes of this game for Miami.

Mecole Hardman Injury Update
Hardman was taken off of injured reserve last week but remained sidelined for Saturday’s game against the Raiders. He was able to practice in a limited fashion, and his eye is definitely set on playing in the playoffs. He caught a touchdown in the three straight games prior to being placed on IR in Week 9, so if he is healthy enough to hit the turf it will make a big impact for the Chiefs.
Tyreek Hill Injury Update
The Dolphin’s number one receiver went down with an ankle injury on Sunday’s game against the Jets. He was able to walk to the sideline but threw his helmet in frustration. He has 1,687 yards on the season, so having him active and healthy will be crucial for the Dolphin’s offense that has already taken a few hits this week.
Mike Williams Injury Update
The Chargers took some heat this week after playing all of their starters in a game that really didn’t matter much. Mike Williams was able to walk to the sideline, but was eventually carted off of the field and demonstrated significant difficulty walking from the locker room to the bus after the game. He had X-rays that ruled out any sort of fracture, leading medical staff to believe that he was suffering from back spasms. If they are able to get it under control, he might be able to play in this weekend’s wild-card game against the Jaguars.
