During week one’s thriller between the Browns and Chiefs at Arrowhead last Sunday, Cleveland safety Ronnie Harrison was ejected in the first quarter for shoving a Chiefs coach on the sideline. However, video replay quickly showed that the refs botched the call by tossing Harrison and not penalizing Kansas City as well — as cameras caught KC running back coach Greg Lewis clearly shoving Harrison first.

On Saturday, the NFL had the chance to make things right….And they totally botched it.
Despite having the luxury of viewing several angles of the incident, and having a whole week to decide on the punishment, the NFL head office stubbornly refused to fine Lewis, while docking $12,128 off Harrison’s check.

So Lewis gets a warning, but Harrison has to pay $12k? I’d be interested to hear how the NFL came to this decision.
