YouTube TV is trying to get millions of subscribers for the NFL season, but they are not having a good dress rehearsal after what happened on Wednesday night.
The ending of Game 1 between the Celtics and Heat was fairly captivating to thousands of fans at home, but not everybody got to witness it.
A malfunction led to TNT not working on YouTube TV in the fourth quarter, when the Heat had made a comeback and were trying to stop the Celtics from taking the game back from them.
YouTube sent out a general announcement, instead of responding to each complaint individually.
They may have been aware of it, but they never fixed the problem.
That led to many NFL fans thinking the same issue will happen during the 2023 season.

This occurred with little over four minutes remaining in the game and the Heat leading by five points on the road. When the game went to commercial, the stream just stopped working. Many spectators saw the same ad start and stop for what seemed like an eternity, and it never came back for the rest of the game, which the Heat won to take a 1-0 series lead.
For the time being, the situation remains unclear. The Heat won the game without a doubt. Subscribers to YouTube TV are hoping to catch the conclusion of Game 2 on Friday night.
YouTube announced pricing for its new Sunday Ticket package, and access to this season’s games will cost anywhere from $249 to $489.
YouTube is paying a reported $2 billion a year for this package, after a hotly contested battle with Apple and others to win the rights.
Not many have faith that they will be able to handle this.
