An unruly Philadelphia Eagles fan will no longer be able to cheer on his favorite team, and he has no one to blame but himself.
Philadelphia vs Green Bay was not just a wild-card game but also the site of pure drama.
The Eagles topped the Packers, 22-10, at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday afternoon, but the game started to take on another tone as disgusting things were being said to a Packers fan for no reason.
During the game, a Philly fan harassed a woman in Green Bay Packers gear. The woman’s partner took to social media to post the video, asking for help in identifying the fan.
“What it’s like going to Philly just trying to root for your team… Unprovoked, uncalled for. Packers twitter, help me out and find this guy…. this is not okay I hate that my fiancé had this happen simply cheering for her team,” Alexander Basara wrote on X.
NFL reporter Derrick Gunn reported on Monday night that social media certainly helped out. The Eagles identified the fan, and he has now been banned from all future games.
Here's an update … Big Dom has identified the guy and woman involved in this incident .. the guy will be banned from future Eagles games .. the eagles will be sending the woman packers gear as an apology .. Eagles once again showing what a class organization they are ..👏🏾👏🏾 https://t.co/ZOUvyB3zzq

“This incident spawned the usual “Eagles fans are the worst” comments. Some even harkened back to the Santa snowballs incident. There was a time when that case could have been made, but we’re a long way from the days of Judge Seamus McCaffery and the Veterans Stadium jail,” another fan added.

One final fan summed it up: “Sadly this has become an epidemic. Spent time traveling to other stadiums this season. Some were surprisingly awesome and others simply disgusting. I won’t name names but people need to do better!”
