The New York Jets entered the offseason with a need to upgrade the weapons around 2021 second-overall pick Zach Wilson. Their name has continued to come up as a possible suitor for several of the available wideouts, but so far they haven’t been able to land any of them.
It hasn’t been without trying, though. New York was apparently oh so close to netting Tyreek Hill, just before the wide receiver nixed a deal to the Jets in favor of the Miami Dolphins.
Getting that close to acquiring one of the best wide receivers in the NFL obviously has Jets fans excited. They know their teams is doing whatever they can to add another big weapon on offense. They’ve even been said to be in strong pursuit of any one of Seattle’s D.K. Metcalf, Tennessee’s A.J. Brown, and San Francisco’s Deebo Samuel.
It should therefore come as no surprise to see Jets fans, and NFL fans in general, go nuts over a photo of Samuel training with Zach Wilson and some of Gang Green’s wide receivers…even if the photo happens to be a fake.
The image, which is clearly photoshopped, was posted by Jets fan @NJYBrick with the caption, “***SOURCES*** Deebo spotted with Zach Wilson and the Jets WR in Arizona. Seems like any day now will be traded to #Jets.”

Thus, we have all sorts of great responses to this fake photo from the Twitterverse:
