NFL fans had a funny theory on the Kansas City Chiefs’ stunning loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday evening.

The Chiefs were upset 24-9 by their longtime AFC West rivals in Mile High City. Not only was this Patrick Mahomes’ first loss to the Broncos, but it also marked the Chiefs’ first loss to Denver since Week 2 of the 2015 season.

Fans on X (formerly known as Twitter) suggested that Taylor Swift’s absence was a factor in Kansas City’s disappointing effort and loss:
