Last month, the NFL announced that Arizona Cardinals star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins had failed a drug test and would be suspended for the first six games of the 2022 season for violating the league’s PED policy.
Hopkins has continued to maintain his innocence and believes his positive test is due to contamination. He states that a very minuscule amount of a drug called “Ostarine” was detected in his system, which led to him failing the test, as it is on the list of banned substances.
In most cases, when an athlete fails a drug test of any kind, he will inevitably blame the testing system as the reason for the positive result.
Fans have heard this excuse many times—enough times that they often find it hard to trust the athlete anymore. But in this case, Hopkins has been receiving a lot support from people on Twitter.

Hopkins is hoping to have his six game suspension reduced before the start of the season.
Although the Cardinals have several capable pass catchers, including the recently acquired Marquise Brown, solid veteran A.J. Green and dependable tight end Zach Ertz, there is no doubt they will miss the services of the All Pro wideout.
