Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has been added to Madden’s 99 Club for the third straight year, though it comes late in the season and months after Electronic Arts’ release of their Madden 23 title.
The video game has been out since August, but Kelce is only now being added. Better late than never, then?
Last season, Kelce was given the game’s top player rating at his tight end position before it launched. The season before that, he had to wait as EA probably needed to see his numbers first. Though they corrected that for Madden NFL 22, they’re back to being late for the 2022/23 iteration of the popular football title.

Kelce has posted 91 receptions for 1,144 yards and 12 touchdowns so far this season. He’s just one reception away from matching last season’s total, while he has already gone for more yards and touchdowns than he did in 2021, having registered 1,125 yards and nine TDs last term.
