Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson revealed a brand new appearance while speaking to the media on Thursday.
Last week, the 2019 league MVP and the Ravens agreed to a massive five-year contract extension worth $260 million. Jackson requested a trade from the organization back in March, but the two sides waited it out patiently and finally reached a resolution.
As you can see in the clip below, Jackson shared a brand new hairstyle that caught NFL fans by surprise.

The Ravens placed the franchise tag on Jackson before free agency began, thus preventing him from entering the open market. The 26-year-old played out the 2022 season on the final year of his rookie contact, a fifth-year option that Baltimore picked up.
Baltimore GM Eric DeCosta signed former Pro Bowl wideout Odell Beckham Jr. in free agency and used the club’s first-round selection (No. 22 overall) on Boston College wideout Zay Flowers. Throw in 2021 first-rounder Rashod Bateman and star tight end Mark Andrews, and Jackson simply won’t be short of pass-catching weapons in 2023.
Though Jackson carries an injury history (10 total games missed over the last two years), his value to the Ravens has been evident. He is 45-16-0 as the team’s starting quarterback, and they’ve qualified for the postseason in four of his five years.
The Ravens were always going to be the best possible fit for Jackson. With the star QB under contract long-term, the organization can focus on bringing home Lombardi Trophy No. 3.
