NFL fans have a lot to say on the outrageous ticket prices for some of the biggest games on the 2023 season schedule.
On Thursday, the league released the full slate of 2023 regular season games. Vivid Seats released the five biggest in-demand games thus far based on the average ticket price, and there’s one game that takes the cake by a wide margin.
The New England Patriots’ Week 1 home game against the defending NFC Champion Philadelphia Eagles is going for the average price of $807, per Vivid Seats. The Patriots will honor franchise legend Tom Brady during the game, and his presence is certainly a factor in the high demand.
The Dallas Cowboys’ Week 5 game against the San Francisco 49ers at Levi’s Stadium is a distant second with an average ticket price of $501. The top five is rounded out by the Detroit Lions-Kansas City Chiefs Week 1 Kickoff Game ($444 average ticket price), Chiefs vs. New York Jets in Week 4 ($354 average ticket price) and Green Bay Packers vs. Chicago Bears in Week 1 ($349).

Of course, the ticket prices could always change drastically (they could increase or decrease) as the games inch closer. This is the demand right now, but the price could easily drop down for either game when the hype and excitement settles down a bit.
