Football fans have another reason to be mad at Ben Roethlisberger following his controversial take on Lamar Jackson.
Jackson remains the talk of the football community given his contract standoff with the Baltimore Ravens. While the fact that he does not have an agent is reason enough for criticism and his availability over the last few seasons could also be pointed to when searching for negatives, there’s little that can be said about Lamar’s game as he is one of the most dangerous quarterbacks in the NFL and would have likely been more successful with better receivers around him.
Speaking on the Footbahlin Podcast, Roethlisberger made the claim that other teams don’t fear Jackson as a passer out of the pocket.
“You don’t fear him just sitting in the pocket and picking you apart,” he said.
Fans have responded to Roethlisberger by comparing his own stats to Jackson’s while others joked about his past legal issues.

While Jackson is much more of a threat as a mobile passer and is amazing with his feet, he isn’t that bad at passing out of the pocket either.
Should he remain with the Ravens now that they have Odell Beckham Jr., the quarterback could have a very special 2023 ahead.
