Social media is going into a frenzy following the NFL’s massive announcement for the Detroit Lions-Los Angeles Rams playoff game next week.
Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Matthew Stafford’s highly-anticipated return to Detroit for the Wild Card Round showdown will be the Sunday night contest at 8:15 p.m. EST. The contest will also mark Detroit’s first home playoff game in 30 years:

The Rams are two years removed from a Super Bowl 56 championship-winning season. And it’s only fitting that Stafford, a key architect in that championship season, will get the chance to spoil Detroit’s 2023 campaign in his old home of Ford Field.
