Some fans reckon one NFL team will be cursed going forward due to some strange behavior from one of its biggest stars.

With Kansas City hosting the 2023 NFL Draft on the weekend, the Chiefs celebrated February’s Super Bowl win as they should. Travis Kelce went a bit too far, however,

The All-Pro tight end smashed the Lombardi Trophy while on stage – it was a fake one, okay, but NFL fans seem to think it’s bad luck as several of them have agreed with former pro linebacker Will Compton’s tweet that suggested that KC will either go undefeated next season or go on to experience poor fortunes for the foreseeable future.

It’s hard to imagine the Chiefs struggling to win games over the span of the next few seasons. They arguably have the best quarterback in the game while Kelce himself is one of the most dangerous past catchers of the current era. Kansas City boasts several more weapons, though they won’t have Eric Bieniemy next season as he has taken up a job with the Washington Commanders.

This last one could make things interesting, admittedly.
