It didn’t even take an entire quarter for fans to become irritated by Jason Garrett.
The Green Bay Packers and Miami Dolphins are facing off on Thursday to wrap up the three-game Thanksgiving slate. The game is on NBC and Peacock, and the Sunday Night Football crew will handle broadcasting duties. However, Mike Tirico did not have Cris Collinsworth by his side for this contest.
Instead, Garrett was slated to be in the booth.
That spelled terrible news for viewers all over the country.
Many fans took to social media and started complaining about Garrett’s voice and play-calling.
“7 seconds in, and my TV is already muted. Thanks Jason Garrett,” one fan stated.

“Can’t suffer through (Jason) Garrett for 3 hours, finna mute this game. How is NBC so blind to how boring and bland he is? All he’s good for is clapping!” another fan added.
“Jason Garrett is the worst announcer I’ve heard. Might have to mute my tv,” a third fan stated about the former Dallas Cowboys head coach.
“Jason Garret may work for TV, but he has a miserable voice and shouldn’t be on the broadcast,” a fourth said about Jason Garrett.
“Jason Garrett is a robot. He has no human qualities. He is incapable of authentic speech,” a fifth fan blurted out.
“Thank god I’m watching the game on mute now that I see that Garrett is on the call, a sixth fan said.
A final fan stated, “I need an Amber alert warning to inform me that Garrett is going to be announcing the game tonight. Terrible jumpscare turning on the tv this evening.”
Jason Garrett Had Unique Comparison For Tua Tagovailoa Ahead of Dolphins-Packers Game
Before he would call tonight’s game, Jason Garrett made a bold comparison, calling Tagovailoa the Magic Johnson of the Dolphins offense.
Tagovailoa has rallied the Dolphins to three straight wins over the Rams, Raiders, and Patriots, and his squad is back in the playoff hunt despite the amount of time he has missed.
“The guy is Magic Johnson. I’ve never seen a guy see the field this quickly and get the ball out of his hands so quickly into these holes where guys can catch it. He’s a magician.”
Without Tua, the Dolphins can do absolutely nothing, and they would easily be a team that would get a top draft pick without him.
With Tua, the Dolphins are a viable playoff contender.
