Colin Kaepernick is finally getting his shot.

On Wednesday, it was announced that the free agent QB would be receiving a workout from the Raiders.

Colin Kaepernick, who last played football in 2016, the same year he started kneeling during the national anthem to protest racial injustice, is scheduled to work out this week for the Las Vegas Raiders, league sources told ESPN.

Raiders owner Mark Davis last month: “I believe in Colin Kaepernick. He deserves every chance in the world to become a quarterback in the National Football League. I still stand by it. If our coaches and general manager want to bring him in, I would welcome him with open arms.”

Colin Kaepernick has been out of the NFL since 2017. It’s been a long time since people have seen him playing on the football pitch. This workout could seriously open some doors for him to getting back into the league.

Colin Kaepernick played 6 seasons for the 49ers. He threw for 12,271 yards and 72 touchdowns. Even though his winning record wasn’t that great, he was still a pretty handy quarterback.
