The Washington Commanders are supposed to be a defensive-minded team, but what they don’t need is their quarterback putting them on the field a ton of times because of untimely interceptions.
Organized team activities were the first time many in the Washington Commanders organization got to see QB Carson Wentz in the Burgundy and Gold. Wentz got his first reps with the Commanders on Tuesday and he appeared to look very good throughout.
However, Wentz did shake things up a bit when he tossed an interception to Corn Elder.

It shouldn’t be a big deal, but it Wentz and social meida went nuts over it.
When Carson Wentz takes the field in 2022, it will be for his third different team in three years.
Coming out of North Dakota State in 2015, Wentz was selected second overall in the 2016 NFL Draft by the Eagles just after the Rams took Jared Goff from Cal with the top pick. Wentz’s first season with the Eagles wasn’t particularly memorable as he completed 62.4 percent of his passes with 16 touchdowns, 14 interceptions and 3,782 passing yards.
In March, the Indianapolis Colts traded Carson Wentz to the Washington Commanders, and owner Jim Irsay suggested that Wentz’s one year as quarterback of the franchise was a mistake.
Wentz finished the season with 3,563 passing yards, 27 touchdowns and seven interceptions, completing 62.4 percent of his passes while taking 32 sacks.
