“Superman” is a common nickname for the world’s best athletes, but Seattle Seahawks wide receiver D.K. Metcalf better go ahead and trademark it now.

And you thought Metcalf’s chase down and tackle of Budda Baker to prevent a pick-six back in the 2020 season was his greatest act of elite athleticism.
The Seahawks drafted Metcalf in the second round, 64th overall, back in the receiver-heavy 2019 draft. Metcalf has emerged as a game-changing force for Seattle, racking up four straight seasons of 50-plus receptions and 900-plus receiving yards.
Despite the loss of Pro Bowler Russell Wilson, Metcalf continued his all-world play with Comeback Player of the Year Geno Smith in 2022. Metcalf hauled in a career-high 90 passes for 1,048 yards and six touchdowns, helping Seattle make a surprise return to the postseason.
For his career, Metcalf has 306 receptions for 4,218 yards and 35 touchdowns.
