Many NFL fans are unhappy with a ruling of Devin Singletary’s yardage, which cost several bettors their parlay wagers.
The Bills fell 27-10 to the Cincinnati Bengals in the snowy conditions at Highmark Stadium. The Bengals will meet the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game for the second straight year.
Via Prince J. Grimes of For The Win, there was a prop bet at FanDuel for the Buffalo Bills’ running back to rush for 25-plus rushing yards. Officially, Singletary was marked at 24 rushing yards (six carries) on the day.
As you can see in the clip below, the CBS Sports graphic shows a 3rd-and-7 situation for the Bills after the two-minute warning. Singletary apparently runs for seven yards which would have placed him at 26 yards, winning the parlay bet for those who bet the over on his rushing total.
Instead, it was actually a 3rd-and-6 situation, and Singletary was marked one yard shy of the first down marker. So that meant his rushing total concluded at 24 yards, and you can probably guess some of the reactions on social media.
