Long before his broadcasting career with NBC, Collinsworth was a star wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals. The three-time Pro Bowler and three-time Second-team All-Pro helped the Bengals to a pair of Super Bowl appearances in the ’80s, though they lost both to the San Francisco 49ers.
Collinsworth joined the “Sunday Night Football” broadcast booth in 2009, following the retirement of the legendary John Madden. Collinsworth worked alongside Al Michaels until the 2021 season, as the latter left and joined Amazon Prime’s “Thursday Night Football” program.
As for the Ravens-Steelers tilt, the two AFC North rivals once again put on another classic. The Steelers prevailed with a 16-13 victory, with running back Najee Harris catching the game-winning touchdown from Kenny Pickett with 56 seconds left.
With the victory, the 8-8 Steelers kept their slim playoff hopes alive. The Ravens fell to 10-6 on the year. The Bengals will win the AFC North if they defeat the Buffalo Bills on Monday night.
