NFL fans are sounding off on a controversial list of all 32 (currently listed) starting quarterbacks in the league right now.
The “Stay Hot” sports podcast made a graphic where they ranked all 32 starting quarterbacks from first to worst. Kansas City Chiefs’ superstar Patrick Mahomes headlines the list, with Kyle Trask of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers occupying the last spot.
There’s one notable change for that list, as the New Orleans Saints signed ex-Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr to a four-year contract worth $150 million. He’s the new starter for New Orleans, while Andy Dalton is on his way to free agency.
Obviously, a highly-opinionated list like this is going to lead to plenty of great debate. Here is how fans on Twitter responded to the rankings.

Mahomes is the consensus choice for the top player in the NFL right now. Two MVP awards, five AFC Championship Game appearances, three Super Bowl trips and two Super Bowl rings over five years speaks for itself, after all.
But after Mahomes, the rest of the debate gets interesting. Joe Burrow, Josh Allen and Jalen Hurts certainly have compelling cases as the second-best quarterback in the league, and then the rest of the top-10 becomes very debatable.
Of course, this list will need to be updated in the coming weeks. Jimmy Garoppolo will soon sign with a new team in free agency and take over as their starter, and both Lamar Jackson and Aaron Rodgers could be traded in the coming weeks. Stay tuned.
