Not even 15 minutes into the New England Patriots’ 2023 season, and fans are already calling for Bill Belichick to be fired.

The Patriots couldn’t have started the season much worse. After allowing a field goal on the Eagles’ opening drive, Mac Jones threw a pick-six to Darius Slay. On the first play of the ensuing possession, Ezekiel Elliott lost a fumble that the Eagles recovered. That led to a DeVonta Smith five-yard TD pass from Jalen Hurts.

With the Patriots starting out sloppy and sluggish, it didn’t take long for NFL fans to rip Belichick and call for him to be fired:
