The Buffalo Bills and San Francisco 49ers are in for a terrible night inside Highmark Stadium.
Mother Nature is not being too kind right now for people in Orchard Park, a Buffalo suburb that annually receives upwards of 100″ of snow due to its location off Lake Erie.
Snow happens every year, but something much different is happening in the city right now, and it is pretty frightening for everybody in the immediate area.
The Buffalo Bills are set to play host to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday Night Football, and a massive blizzard is set to hit upstate New York if it hasn’t already done so.
Heavy snow is already falling, and multiple feet of it is still expected to fall.
The National Weather Service is forecasting heavy snow throughout Sunday, so this won’t be the best-looking game for either the Buffalo Bills or the San Francisco 49ers.

Fans would take to social media and pray for everybody as the Buffalo Bills and 49ers get ready for battle tonight.
“If you live in this part of the world, when it’s a rough snowstorm and you HAVE to be out driving, you pray for a “snow plow parade”. Timing can mean everything when snowfall rates are 2-3 inches per hour. South side of Buffalo,” one fan stated.
“Wow! I’ve got most of my family in Buffalo, NY. Please pray all are safe.”
One concerned fan stated, “I just saw on the news there are a lot of people stranded on Interstate 90 here in Northeast Ohio & in Erie Pennsylvania & Buffalo New York. I pray for their safety. This is so awful.”
“Walking in thunder snow is kind of scary,” one frightened fan stated as we get closer to the Buffalo Bills playing.
Another fan spoke on her experiences while saying on X: “This is so scary, + reminiscent of a few harrowing drives I made in college – NH to Buffalo (9.5 hrs in good conditions). Had to pull over on the thruway (w/everyone else) to wait out a whiteout. No cell phones meant my parents worried. My emergency kit is stellar to this day. 🙏”
Buffalo Bills Fans Threw Snowballs At Patrick Mahomes In 2023
Snow has blanketed Orchard Park, where the Buffalo Bills will play the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday Night Football.
It has never stopped the fan base from showing up to games and engaging in snowball fights.
It was just eleven months ago that Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs defeated the Bills in a playoff game at Highmark Stadium.
After the Chiefs defeated the Bills, 27-24, to move on to the AFC Championship Game, Mahomes found himself being pelted with snowballs from the stands.
