The retired New England Patriots star appears to be working out on the football field with his good friend and longtime quarterback, Tom Brady. Brady tweeted a video Monday afternoon that showed Edelman running routes and catching passes from him on UCLA’s practice field.

The 35-year-old announced his retirement from the league in April 2021.

Brady, meanwhile, announced this month he would be returning to the field for his 23rd NFL season, ending the 44-year-old’s retirement from football after just 40 days. Brady went on to join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in March 2020 as a free agent and won the Super Bowl in his first season with the team.

Brady and Edelman were teammates for 11 of Brady’s 20 seasons with the Patriots, winning three Super Bowl championships together.
