With so many teams starving for a quarterback, could Colin Kaepernick see himself back in the league in 2022?
The former San Francisco 49ers quarterback shared a video on social media of him working out on a field on Thursday and social media went nuts. Kaepernick, who has essentially been backballed by the league after he first started taking a knee during the national anthem in protest.
Clearly, Kaepernick still hasn’t given up on a return to the league. So, who would take a chance on him?
With Russell Wilson traded to the Denver Broncos on Wednesday, the Seattle Seahawks are being named as the team that should give Kaepernick a shot.

Kaepernick, 34, hasn’t played in the NFL since the 2016 season, which marked his sixth with the 49ers. During that final year, Kaepernick started kneeling during the national anthem that season to protest social justice issues throughout the United States. His protest became an issue for a ton of people across the country who still dislike him to this day.
Kaepernick opted out of his contract the following March after the 49ers reportedly said they were going to cut him, and he hasn’t played since.
