If Colin Kaepernick makes it back to the National Football League, it does not appear that it will be with the Seattle Seahawks.
Since their stunning blockbuster trade of franchise QB Russell Wilson three weeks ago, the rumor mill ha connected the team with Kaepernick the most, since they have been the only franchise to meet with him since the end of the 2016 season.
While there have been reported discussions between Kaepernick’s camp and the Seahawks, head coach Pete Carroll said on Tuesday that those conversations haven’t been moving forward.
Carroll said, “conversations have not progressed” since Kaepernick reached out earlier this offseason,” per Seahawks reporter John Boyle.
“He’s getting some information out, he’s doing a nice job presenting himself,” Carroll said.

In October 2017, Kaepernick filed a grievance against the league, accusing league owners of colluding to keep him out of the NFL. Him and the league would settle out of court, yet he still remains out of the league.
The Seahawks could use another signal-caller in their quarterback room after trading away Russell Wilson to the Denver Broncos. Drew Lock is expected to likely win the starting job right now as the franchise is looking to a rebuild.
Despite his numerous workout videos with several players, it still feels like no NFL team is willing to give Kaepernick another chance.
