NFL fans are showering Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts with heartwarming and congratulatory messages after some wonderful personal life news.
According to Essence Magazine, Jalen Hurts is now engaged to longtime girlfriend, Bry Burrows. The two first met when they were students at Alabama, and they were “on and off” for a while before becoming a long-term couple, Essence reports.

After graduating from Channelview High School in Channelview, Texas, Hurts joined Nick Saban’s Alabama Crimson Tide in 2018. Hurts was benched in the 2017 national championship game against Georgia in favor of Tua Tagovailoa, who led the Crimson Tide to a victory in overtime.
Jalen Hurts subsequently transferred to the University of Oklahoma, where he spent his final season of college football in 2019. He won Big 12 Offensive Newcomer of the Year honors and was drafted in the second round (53rd overall) by the Eagles in 2020.
Hurts became the starting quarterback late in his rookie year after Carson Wentz was benched, and the rest is history. Hurts has developed into one of football’s elite quarterbacks, leading the Eagles to a Super Bowl 57 appearance in the 2022 season.
The 26-year-old Hurts has 12,042 career passing yards, 69 touchdowns and 36 interceptions to go along with 2,536 rushing yards and 41 rushing touchdowns.

The Eagles narrowly got past the Green Bay Packers last Friday with a 34-29 victory in São Paulo, the first NFL game to take place in Brazil. Up next, Hurts and the Falcons will try and make it 2-0 when they host Kirk Cousins and the Atlanta Falcons on “Monday Night Football” at Lincoln Financial Field.
