Football fans were teeing off on NBC “Sunday Night Football” commentator Cris Collinsworth during the Detroit Lions-Tampa Bay Buccaneers game.

Collinsworth is one of the more polarizing announcers in football. As always, there were plenty of fans complaining about his performance on Sunday, the last “Sunday Night Football” broadcast of the 2023 NFL season:

CBS will broadcast next Sunday’s AFC Championship Game as well as Super Bowl 58 in Las Vegas, Nevada, while FOX will wrap up its 2023 season broadcast in the NFC Championship Game next Sunday.

With the Lions-Bucs game over, that’s it for Collins and Mike Tirico until next season.
