Al Michaels might have to quit doing these Thursday Night Football games, because they continue to get worse week after week.
Last month during an appearance on Waddle & Silvy for ESPN Chicago, Al Michaels said he may have to consider retiring if he had to endure another TNF game like the Broncos-Colts game.
“If we don’t have a better game than we had last Thursday then I may retire,” Michaels said, via Barrett Sports Media. “I’ve done pretty close to 800 NFL games, and with all due respect, guys are trying I understand and we all know that, but that was grim.”
Fast forward to this week, and he may have to dfo that as fans were treated to a game between the lowly Falcons and Panthers.
Everybody said the same thing about Michaels.

The games may be bad, but keep in mind that, come February, we’ll be wishing for an NFL game to watch on a Thursday night. Even if it’s a terrible one.
